Please pledge a gift supporting student scientists and birders

Your gift will help foster our future leaders in science and conservation

The Cornell Lab has a longstanding tradition of turning everyday birding activities into vital sources of support for bird conservation. As part of our Global Big Day, 14 undergraduate students will compete in three divisions of the World Series of Birding, seeking to identify the greatest number of birds and raise critical funds for student research and bird conservation.

Our Redheads teams of student birders will compete in the Cape Island, county, and “Big Stay” divisions on May 14.

Please pledge a gift for every bird species the Redheads find during their 24 hours of non-stop birding in New Jersey.

After Global Big Day, we'll share with you the Redheads' results and ask you to fulfill your pledged gift.
