what_they_eat What they eat: These birds primarily eat insects, but they do visit bird feeders frequently, where they like sunflower seeds and suet. They tend to go to platform and ground feeders.
how_they_sound Where they live: True to their name, Mountain Chickadees are common around the forested mountains of the western U.S up to southwest Canada.
where_they_live Did you know? These birds are active little acrobats, clinging to small twigs, hanging upside down from pinecones, and following around members of their flocks.
did_you_know How they sound: Their call sounds like a lively but scolding chick-a-dee!
