what_they_eat What they eat: These birds eat mainly insects, but at platform and ground feeders, they prefer sunflower seeds, fruit, and suet.
how_they_sound Where they live: Varied Thrushes tend to live in dark, wet forests along the U.S. west coast up into western Canada and Alaska.
where_they_live Did you know? This bird is shyer than most. When it senses it is being observed, it appears to become nervous and will rarely display self-maintenance behaviors.
did_you_know How they sound: Varied Thrushes sing a whistled, flutelike, sometimes burry tone on a single pitch.
