Over the last month, the young Red-tailed Hawks have been navigating around campus accompanied by their parents and exploring the environment. In this short highlight, the eldest fledgling (named "O1") drops by the nest, vocalizing then jumping to the railing before heading off.
Rare and Inquisitive Crested Oropendola Explores Panama Feeders
We were in for a surprise when a Crested Oropendola visited the Panama Fruit Feeders Cam last week. These majestic relatives of blackbirds and orioles nest in colonies and weave big, complex hanging nests. Watch this one dig into the bananas for not one but two helpings!
