what_they_eat What they eat: Brewer’s Blackbirds eat seeds, grains, and insects. Attract them to your yard by putting out hulled sunflower, cracked corn, and millet in platform and ground feeders.
how_they_sound Where they live: These birds live in a variety of natural habitats—from grasslands to coastal scrub—as well as in manmade ones, and they occur in the western half of North America
where_they_live Did you know? Around marshes, you may see these birds walking  on lily pads to hunt aquatic insects and even small frogs
did_you_know How they sound: These birds give a tchup call and their song is a shrill, rising squeee.
