what_they_eat What they eat: These birds are omnivores, eating mostly insects along with some fruits, seeds, and nuts. They tend to visit platform and ground feeders, where they prefer suet and sunflower seeds.
how_they_sound Where they live: Brown Thrashers live in areas of tangled shrubs or by forest edges. Their range consists of the eastern half of the continental U.S and parts of southeast Canada.
where_they_live Did you know? Brown Thrashers can have a repertoire of over 1,100 song types, including imitations of other birds.
did_you_know How they sound: They make a variety of sounds, including whistles, chirrups, hissing sounds, and imitations of other species.
