what_they_eat What they eat: Their diet is about half plant, half animal, but they will visit most types of feeders for sunflower seeds, peanut chips, and suet.
how_they_sound Where they live: Carolina Chickadees may be found in forest habitats throughout the southeastern portion of the U.S.Canada.
where_they_live Did you know? These birds look very similar to the Black-capped Chickadee, but the Carolina Chickadee has less white coloring along the outer edges and tips of its wings.
did_you_know How they sound: They make the familiar chickadee-dee-dee call, as well as a four note whistle call.
