What they eat: These birds mainly eat seeds of a great variety of grasses and herbs. They tend to visit hopper, platform, and ground feeders, where they’ll eat milo and millet. |

Where they live: Chipping Sparrows live around trees, even though they often forage on the ground. They occur commonly through out all of continental North America, except for Alaska and very northern Canada. |
