Event Questions

Will the workshop be recorded for later viewing?

Yes! Barring any disasters, we plan to make the recorded workshop available to ticket-holders by email within 48 hours of the event. If you do not receive that email, please check your spam folders and then email cloeventsales@cornell.edu We hope you look forward to it!

How long are recorded workshops available to re-watch?

We'll be keeping workshop recordings hosted and available for three months after the workshop for previous attendees. We hope you'll enjoy reviewing during that time!

I didn’t make the ticket sale! Can you get me in? Will there be another showing?

Unfortunately, the attendance number had to be capped in order to assure quality of experience for all participants. We're very sorry for the inconvenience. We do not currently know when we will be able to run a repeat of this workshop, but if there is enough interest another could be possible. If you aren't already signed up for updates from the Bird Academy, you may want to join that list just in case we announce a repeat! Sign up for updates from Bird Academy.

I didn’t get a link! How do I access the workshop?

The link to access the workshop will go out 24 hours before the workshop, and then again an hour before the workshop. Please look out for it, and let us know at cloeventsales@cornell.edu if you don't have an email with the link on the day before the event!

How do I connect? How do I use Zoom?

Here are our tech recommendations for following along with Liz’s workshop which is hosted on Zoom:

  1. Joining with a computer or a tablet with a large screen will give you the best viewing experience.
  2. Use the Zoom app on your computer or tablet and make sure it has been updated recently (in the past few weeks).
  3. You can download the free Zoom Client app here: Zoom Download

Will there be closed captioning?
Yes, Zoom has auto-captions that you can turn on during the workshop. The recording of the workshop will also have captions, which will be edited for accuracy and uploaded to the video a week after the workshop.
