what_they_eat What they eat: Evening Grosbeaks eat a variety of small fruits and seeds, especially those of maples. They tend to visit large tube, large hopper, and platform feeders.
how_they_sound Where they live:  These birds tend to live in forests. They are irruptive migrants, meaning their range is somewhat sporadic, but they normally occur throughout portions of the western U.S. and across southern Canada.
where_they_live Did you know? The Grosbeak’s powerful bill allows it to crack very large seeds, like cherry pits.
did_you_know How they sound: Their call note is a burry chirp.
