I was estimating by 10s and 20s until I hit 1500, and then I started counting by 1s and 5s. Unbelievable numbers, they were just everywhere. I'll attach a few photos.

Much fewer than yesterday morning. Yesterday all the water was open, but today there was a ton of ice, and I had a hard time tracking down yesterday's duck numbers. Estimated very roughly by hundreds and thousands.

Exotic species
Exotic species flags differentiate locally introduced species from native species.
Naturalized: Exotic population is self-sustaining, breeding in the wild, persisting for many years, and not maintained through ongoing releases (including vagrants from Naturalized populations). These count in official eBird totals and, where applicable, have been accepted by regional bird records committee(s).
Provisional: Either: 1) member of exotic population that is breeding in the wild, self-propagating, and has persisted for multiple years, but not yet Naturalized; 2) rarity of uncertain provenance, with natural vagrancy or captive provenance both considered plausible. When applicable, eBird generally defers to bird records committees for records formally considered to be of "uncertain provenance". Provisional species count in official eBird totals.
Escapee: Exotic species known or suspected to be escaped or released, including those that have bred but don't yet fulfill the criteria for Provisional. Escapee exotics do not count in official eBird totals.

Details
I have never seen this many SNGO here before- today was an absolutely stunning show. There are at least three times as many birds as I saw here yesterday. The following images are almost all taken in entirely separate areas and directions from each other. I first counted by thousands until I thought I knew what 10,000 looked like, and then I started counting by 10,000s until I gave up somewhere around 1.8 million-with two more pools to go. This is absolutely a massive underestimate though. After living in Missouri many years I'd never seen this many here. Between 3:30pm and 4:30pm is when the biggest numbers were present. Birds started pouring to the north in unbelievable flocks around 5:00 pm. I can't believe the two day difference. I think I only estimated about 700,000 yesterday morning.
