The Cornell Lab of Ornithology is currently hard at work out West capturing material for a major multimedia effort to tell the story of America's sagebrush landscapes.

Here's a sneak preview of some of the remarkable wildlife they've encountered.

The sagebrush ecosystems of the American West are a little known national biological treasure. Likewise, sagebrush-dependent birds suffer from a lack of conservation attention. This multimedia effort will help Americans understand and appreciate the uniqueness and biodiversity of our sagebrush landscapes.
