what_they_eat What they eat: These birds eat seeds, buds, and fruits. At large tube, large hopper, and platform feeders, they seek out sunflower seeds, fruit, and suet.
how_they_sound Where they live: The Pine Grosbeak is a bird of coniferous forests, and it occurs across Alaska and Canada into the northern portion of the continental U.S.
where_they_live Did you know? These birds are the largest and most rare of the “winter finches.”
did_you_know How they sound: Their song is a sequence of clear, warbling, flute-like notes.
