what_they_eat What they eat: Rock Pigeons eat seeds and fruits. They tend to visit platform, ground, or large hopper feeders, where they prefer cracked corn and sunflower seeds.
how_they_sound Where they live: These birds live in urban areas, farmland, and rocky cliffs. Their range includes the entire continental U.S, Mexico, and Central America, with some occurrence throughout southern Canada.
where_they_live Did you know? Pigeons can always find their way home, even if released from a distant location while blindfolded.
did_you_know How they sound: Rock Pigeons sing a prolonged series of throaty coos.
