what_they_eat What they eat: These birds eat mainly seeds, fruit, and insects. They tend to visit platform and ground feeders and will eat peanut hearts, millet, wheat, and milo.
how_they_sound Where they live: Song Sparrows are found in a variety of habitats, including arctic grasslands, desert scrub, and marshes. They occur across the U.S., southern Canada and Alaska, and northern Mexico.
where_they_live Did you know? Song Sparrow pairs search for nest sites together.
did_you_know How they sound: They sing a loud clanking that typically starts with abrupt, well-spaced notes and finishes with a buzz or trill.
