The Purple-rumped Sunbird (Leptocoma zeylonica), is a colorful native species found across many parts of India. This resident can be found foraging, nesting, and visiting a variety of habitats, including people's gardens. The sunbird is pictured here on Moringa (Moringa oleifer), a favorite food and nesting resource of these vibrant birds.
