what_they_eat What they eat: White-throated Sparrows eat mainly the seeds of grasses and weeds but do readily visit platform and ground feeders for millet or sunflower seeds.
how_they_sound Where they live: These birds live in forests, especially around low, dense vegetation or edges of ponds and meadows. They breed across middle and southern Canada and spend winters in the eastern half of the U.S., as well as coastal California.
where_they_live Did you know? White-throated Sparrows are curious birds and will often come to investigate if you imitate their sounds.
did_you_know How they sound: White-throated Sparrows sing a pretty, thin whistle that sounds like Oh-sweet-canada-canada.
